On July 1st the yearly auctions will start on PRISMA. To ensure you’re ready to successfully take part in them, we want to remind you to check a number of details:

1. Access your account before the bidding day to ensure that there's nothing wrong with your credentials and hardware or mobile token;
2. Ensure that your assignments to the TSOs with which you wish to trade is approved;
3. Ensure that you have sufficient credit with your assigned TSOs;
4. Be advised that we are running incremental capacity auctions;
5. Set your favorite network points in advance, so you can find your auctions more easily;
6. Don't forget that you can set up your bids in advance by creating bidding curves (long-term comfort bids);
7. If applicable, contact the relevant operator to determine whether you have the correct balancing groups (German, Austria, Slovenia) and/or portfolio codes (Netherlands). You can check this by clicking on "Operators" on the main page and then click on the tile of the relevant TSO.

With the Yearly Auctions approaching, it is highly advisable that you subscribe to our RSS feed to get the latest updates!

Before the start of any long-term auction, TSOs can update marketable capacity at their network points during the re-opening of the submission window. 

This affects both bundled and unbundled auctions, with separate re-openings for firm and interruptible capacity.

If that happens, PRISMA will make announcements through Urgent Market Messages (UMM). 

By subscribing to the RSS feed, you’ll receive notifications as soon as they are posted.

Auctions will temporarily disappear from the 'Auctions' page during the re-opening. They will then be republished 10 to 15 minutes later.

Important!

Previously placed Bidding Curves (also known as Long-Term Comfort bids) will not be transferred, so shippers must create them again. For more details, visit our knowledgebase.

We recently launched our new Authorization Service. It gives you greater control over functionality access through two types of permission groups: PRISMA Standard Permission Groups and Custom Permission Groups.

PRISMA standard groups offer you a pre-selected package of permissions for specific roles such as Invoice Manager, User Admin and Standard User. You can, however, create a custom group with a personalized selection of permissions based on your own needs.

At first, a limited set of permissions will be available, but the options will gradually increase over time.

Note that our new authorization service changes how users get access to platform functionalities:

Now, admins have to assign newly registered users to a permission group if they are to use platform services, such as capacity booking. Existing users, however, retain their permissions to ensure you do not experience any hassle during the migration.

We’ve recently modernized our Secondary Trading and Reporting sections to improve consistency, user experience, maintenance, and performance. Key updates include:

• Unified table design whereby network point and direction are combined into one column as well as standardized styles for buttons, text and links.

• New filter component to create a more coherent experience.

• New status column to provide clearer communication about proposals and trades, showing if a trade is open or in draft status.

• New written labels to distinguish your own proposals from received replies.

These improvements are designed to streamline your experience and improve overall functionality. We hope you find them beneficial!

In our May newsletter, we inadvertently stated that the PRISMA Shipper API allows users to specify multiple conversion requests when bidding in an auction with Interconnector. 

However, we have since been informed that this functionality is not supported by the operator.
