The bleak months of winter are behind us and we are ready to introduce many colorful improvements on our platform.
On April 1, we will revamp our Permission Groups functionality to provide you with an easier experience.
We'd also like to invite you to test our brand-new platform and share your feedback. Additionally, the Operator Assignment has been significantly enhanced!
Read on for all the details!
Kind Regards,
The PRISMA Team
On April 1, we’re introducing a new Standard User Permission Group and two distinct Usage Modes to PRISMA’s Permission Feature.
The Standard User Role:
We’ve merged the previous Refactored and Legacy Permission Groups into a single Standard User role. Users, currently assigned to either of these groups, will be automatically assigned to the Standard User group on April 1.
This new role is recommended for most users, enabling them to access all relevant platform features with ease.
New Usage Modes:
Safe Mode simplifies permissions by relying on PRISMA’s Standard Groups—no Custom Groups allowed. The benefit? If you're not familiar with all permission use cases, Safe Mode helps you avoid conflicting permission scenarios and provides an easier way to manage access.
Advanced Mode (Beta) offers greater flexibility by enabling you to customize Permission Groups. However, it requires a deeper understanding of such permissions. Users who are not familiar with all use cases may configure conflicting permissions for one or more groups, which could limit access to certain features. Advanced Mode is best suited for experienced users.
Please Note:
Organisations with Custom Groups will be automatically migrated to Advanced Mode upon release.
All other organizations will default to Safe Mode.
To help with the transition, we’ll be introducing these changes via an in-app tour.
What is the Difference Between the Safe and Advanced Modes?
Why Does PRISMA Recommend the Permissions in the Standard Groups?
The Demand Submission Phase for the current RePowerEU Mid-Term Matching Round via AggregateEU concludes today, which means the Bidding Phase will officially begin tomorrow at 9:00 AM CET. It will remain open until March 21, 18:00 CET.
During the Bidding Phase, sellers can express their interest in fulfilling a specific buyer's whole demand based on the requested six-month periods. No additional information is required.
For step-by-step instructions on how to express your interest, please refer to the link below.
We recently improved the Operator Assignment views, including the Assignment Overview and the Apply for a New Assignment page.
Now, approval and reactivation of user assignments are only possible if the organization assignment is in an "active" state.
Additionally, we’ve introduced a new Operator Detail page featuring:
A new user table for admins for better management.
The user assignment card now always displaying "My User Assignment" for improved clarity.

As our platform evolves, we need to refactor its design and navigation to ensure better maintainability, accessibility, and usability. We are currently in the design phase, and need your valuable input.
Your feedback has been indispensable in guiding these changes, and now we want you to be part of the process! Schedule a testing session using the link below and help us make the platform even better.
What’s Changing?
Design Tokens: Defining colors, spacing, fonts, and styles across the platform to ensure a consistent, accessible, and slightly refreshed look.
Vertical Menu Layout: A more intuitive navigation system that optimizes space and improves functionality.
Streamlined Menu and Pages: Based on user feedback, we’re reducing clutter and improving findability to make your experience smoother.
