Dear Reader,
It’s important to start the year in a way that will set the tone for the months to come. So we decided to start 2025 with important events and platform news!
Our Executive Manager, Paolo Maffeis, will join a panel at the EGC 2025. PRISMA will also join E-World 2025 — shall we meet up?
Furthermore, you can already book FCFS capacity through our Shipper API. New LNG auctions from DET are also on the way.
For all the details, keep on reading!
Warm regards,
The PRISMA Team
Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH will market short-term regasification slots for Wilhelmshaven and Brunsbüttel terminals, with auctions starting February 4, 2025.
Auctions for OTD Slots (Obligation to Deliver) will start on February 4, 2025, and for NOTD Slots (No Obligation to Deliver) on February 5 and 6, 2025.
The slots cover services for regasification, LNG storage, and send-out to the gas grid. The descending auctions starts at 0.60 EUR/mmBTU for OTD and 0.71 EUR/mmBTU for NOTD, with 0.20 EUR/mmBTU decrements per round (up to four rounds).
Each round is a "pay-as-bid" round in which the bidder commits to a price above the reserve price (= the minimum price) for that round; the highest bid of the round wins.
If there are no bids, the auction continues with the next round. If, in round 4, there are no bids, the slot remains unsold. In the case of two or more equal bids, the bid with the earliest timestamp wins.
The start price for the first round is 0.60 EUR/mmBTU for OTD slots (Obligation to Deliver) and 0.71 EUR/mmBTU for NOTD slots (No Obligation to Deliver). If there are no bids, the auction continues with the next round, with the reserve price lowered by 0.20 EUR/mmBTU. There will be a maximum of 4 rounds.
You can now make Direct and Regular FCFS Bookings through the Shipper API Service. This new functionality will streamline your primary market transactions by allowing you to use your own system to communicate directly with our platform.
What’s new:
FCFS Bookings are now included in the Trader+ package
FCFS Bookings are also available as an add-on for the Reconciliation and Analyst packages.

Starting on January 27, 2025, a new configuration will be implemented for the generation of Daily Standard Reports.
Currently, these reports are generated every day for each Shipper and include data on Surrender Requests, Secondary Market Trades, FCFS Bookings, Reverse and Transport Auctions, covering all transactions from the last 24 hours.
To reduce the load on the database, we’re introducing some updates:
Please note: Once these changes come live, the default setting will be “no". So, please ensure your Shipper Admins update your company settings to continue receiving reports after January 27.
On January 27, 2025, the "Linked Capacity" view will be removed from the Reporting Section. This feature was previously used by Fluxys, but was discontinued in 2023.
We kindly ask you to download all necessary data from this section before the removal date.
Thank you for your understanding.
