Leipzig, February 03, 2025 - PRISMA European Capacity Platform GmbH is glad to announce that Enovos Storage GmbH intends to auction 10 storage packages of its Frankenthal Underground Storage Facility for storage years 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 on the PRISMA platform.

The auctions will start on 07.02.2025 at 09:00 CET and will close on the same day at 12:00 CET. The exact runtime of marketed products will be: 01.04.2025 - 01.04.2026 and 01.04.2026 - 01.04.2027.

The auctions will be published on the PRISMA platform on February 4, 2025.

Each of these packages will have a pro rata working gas volume of 9,677 MWh, an injection capacity of 2,688 kWh/h, and a withdrawal capacity of 6,720 kWh/h. 

Customers will also be able to separately book volume-only capacity of around 50 GWh at a later date via PRISMA.

The smallest lot size offered in both auctions is one package.  

The Frankenthal underground storage facility provides access to the THE market area and is connected to both the transmission network of terranets bw and the distribution network of Creos Deutschland.  

The Frankenthal aquifer storage has a working gas volume of 968 GWh and serves as a seasonal storage facility. For 2025/2026 and 2026/2027, an initial tranche of 10 packages each is currently being offered.

Leipzig, 3. Februar 2025 - Die PRISMA European Capacity Platform GmbH freut sich bekannt zu geben, dass die Enovos Storage GmbH 10 Speicherpakete für ihre unterirdische Speicheranlage in Frankenthal auf der PRISMA-Plattform via Auktionen für die Speicherjahre 2025/2026 und 2026/2027 anbieten wird.

Die Auktionen werden am 07.02.2025 um 09:00 Uhr MEZ beginnen und am selben Tag um 12:00 Uhr MEZ enden. Die genaue Laufzeit der vermarkteten Produkte wird vom 01.04.2025 bis zum 01.04.2026 und vom 01.04.2026 bis zum 01.04.2027 sein.

Die Auktionen werden am 04.02.2025 auf der PRISMA Plattform veröffentlicht.

Jedes der Pakete hat ein anteiliges Arbeitsgasvolumen von 9.677 MWh sowie eine Einspeicherleistung von 2.688 kWh/h und eine Ausspeicherleistung 6.720 kWh/h. 

Zusätzlich haben die Kunden die Möglichkeit, ein reines Speichervolumen von rund 50 GWh zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt buchen zu können.

Kleinste angebotene Losgröße bei beiden Auktionen ist jeweils ein Paket.

Der Untertagesspeicher Frankenthal bietet einen Zugang zum Marktgebiet der THE und ist sowohl an das Fernleitungsnetz der terranets bw als auch an das Verteilnetz der Creos Deutschland angebunden. 

Der Aquiferspeicher Frankenthal hat ein Arbeitsgasvolumen von 968 GWh und fungiert als Saisonalspeicher. 

Für 2025/2026 und 2026/2027 wird aktuell eine erste Tranche von jeweils 10 Paketen angeboten.
